I can't seem to get a proper start on my postcard. I think I'm deciding to go with the theme of james bond and how the movies were remade over the years. The words "series of images repeating themselves" seems like the description of a moving image when read literally. So maybe I need to depict this in my postcard. Maybe repeat the same image in the composition and make it seem as if it's moving??
I need to look at my inspiration and work out why they work and why I like them. This might help me start. Maybe think more about making something new from something old... using textures to create shapes? Look at scanning in images rather than from the net...
Another idea just came to mind.
Looking at that Jagger image by Andy Warhol- I could create a similar image but with a rockstar relative to today. Maybe that guy from Wolfmother (whatever his name is) or something? I'm starting to think that maybe this will be a simpler as well as a clearer idea.
